Morning of the Car Boot Upon Us. Poetry event and extra exhibition, fantastic books

The morning of the car boot is upon us and we have over 40 brilliant stalls. Visitors have been streaming in since 8.30am so don't delay or you will miss the choice bargains. I have been doing the car park and I can't remember such a stream of purchases heading back to the cars so quickly. Amongst them several vintage deck chairs so hopefully the purchasers know something about the forthcoming summer that I don't. Event open to 3pm, with live music from Blue Moon from 12noon onwards.

If you haven't already booked there are still tickets for the fantastic poetry day on the 12th of June (see https://www.aardvark-books.com/events/the-presence-of-absence for details). As part of the day we will also be featuring the paintings of Ann Fletcher-Williams which were inspired by Pamela Petro's book. Finally I have been working hard to get some of our recent purchases into the shop. We have a fantastic selection of fiction of all kinds from literary fiction to detective stories, so don't delay if you are looking to stock up for summer holiday reading. Also lots more CD's and music titles to enjoy.
