Our H.Art exhibition is now hung and ready to open

After a week's very hard work from the artists and staff here at Aardvark our 2014 H.Art exhibition is hung and ready to go.

For this exhibition we have used the entirety of the warehouse space, and whilst this created some problems for us, the end effect is sensational. My favourite work at the moment is an amazing textile piece by Marily Hall called Circle Series 1. Consisting of three layers of separately hung silk, dyed indigo, the work is both spiritual and thought provoking. The way that it moves in the breeze also gives it the feel of a mobile. At £550 it gives you much of the feeling of a Rothko, for a fraction of the price. My hopeless photograph doesn't do it justice, so you will have to come to the exhibition to see for yourself.
