Brocante well underway!

An early start for every-one this morning, and a late evening finishing off today's delicious French Onion Soup. Last summer the Aardvarks visited Brittany and onions and onion soup are very much on the menu there ( along with numerous savoury and sweet crepes). In the end we have adapted the Bretagne recipe with a secret ingredient - the finest Herefordshire Perry!

So if you are able to come to the event today make sure that you try the onion soup, or if your coming early we also have a French Breakfast special. If you like your coffee strong why not try our new Ethopian Blend with some hot  milk and a hot  croissant, butter and jam.

It has been a very busy weekend so far and I am hoping for lots more visitors today. Don't forget if you are coming to Brampton Bryan there is also a six a side cricket competition and BBQ on the village green ( with a bar selling local ales and beers).

Once today is over it is straight into preparations for the Shropshire Hills Art Week, and this year's event is the biggest ever. Can't wait to get out and visit some of the galleries and studios myself.
