We are open all weekend - new cake supplies arriving

This is just a quick blog to confirm that we are open again as normal this weekend both days: 10am -4 pm. The weather has been sensational for most of this week (stunning again this morning), and we have lots of people sitting outside (appropriately socially distanced) enjoying great teas and coffees and Jo's fabulous cakes.

Even more cards, books etc arriving every day so the shop is also looking as good as it has ever looked.

Many thanks to everyone who has come out to see us over the last two weeks since our re-opening.

Still got lots of great art and cookery titles to shelve, and a dozen large mystery boxes arrived yesterday which I am yet even to glance at. Amongst the other titles that I have had in this week are over 100 books on buses, a small collection on Belfast and Northern Ireland, and even more travel books (that section is looking severely overcrowded).

What better location to celebrate the country's emerging from the unmentionable virus than the countryside surrounding Aardvark Books (and don't forget to say hello to our beautiful bovine neighbours).
