Autumn alert

Falling leaves and fog alert one to the fact that autumn is well and truly here. Strangely though temperatures continue to be quite mild, and the result may well be one of those years when Winter arrives very suddenly.

Here at Aardvark we are knee deep in our wonderful Frankfurt book purchases which have finally arrived, and books are going into stock at a rapid rate. Now that we have got through most of our programme for the year, the time has come to sit down and think about next year's Aardvark exhibition programme. One difference in 2016 is that we will not be running a full-scale Mortimer Country Food Fair, however we have a number of ideas on how to take forward the good work that Carolyn Chesshire and we ourselves did on the Food Fair, so watch this space. Having had a fantastic exhibition programme this year, I am hopeful that 2016 should be even better.

Next event up is the Winter Event on Saturday 21st November, with a return visit from the Trevor Davis Trio.

Enough blogging, now back to opening boxes and processing our new stock of books. Hey ho.
