Valentine's Market

Stallholders are arriving and all is underway for today's Valentine's market. Most pleasing of all the roads to the bookshop are all open. Last year at this time we were experiencing what seemed like a new ice age, but this year's weather has in its own way been even worse.

Still we are hoping that lots of our customers will make the effort to come out to see us today, not least because this will be one of the first public occasions to hear Gareth Rees-Roberts playing his new Granada made Spanish guitar. Gareth purchased this last year from one of Spain's most respected guitar makers, and the tone it produces is absolutely magnificent. Come and judge for yourself.

Elsewhere we have a good selection of stalls including some new to the Aardvark markets. I am most excited about the glassblowers whose works would make the most perfect present for a special person.
