Back from Frankfurt, Brocante on Sunday, Winter Event

After another epic 1,500 round trip the Aardvarks are back from the northern wastes of Germany and have an amazing 75 large boxes of art and related books to show for their efforts. Some absolute crackers which are not to be missed.

This time of year seems a little like Christmas as we start opening all the fantastic boxes of books and find all the goodies that are inside. This morning I have been putting on some wonderful titles from Laurence King and their new acquisition BIS, yesterday it was books from Pavillion and their other imprints such as Batsford. With some great books from the Royal Academy, Antiques Collectors Club and many more to go into stock over the next week it truly is an art book spectacular.

But this weekend is all about our autumn Brocante which starts at 10am tomorrow. A record number of stalls with many regulars and some fantastic first timers. Get here early for a  bargain and why not bag a croissant or some home made pumpkin soup whilst you are here.

 

Finally I can confirm that Trevor Davies is returning for oru Winter Event on the 17th of November and will once again by featuring the Vibes ( one of my favourite instruments in his trio. And everything in the shop has 10% off our already crazy prices, and we will have some special bargains as well. How can you resist.
