Thinking about Christmas

It has I am afraid been a few weeks since my last blog - I have no excuses  other than the pressures of running the shop and of various life emergencies that have kept us occupied.

In between the latter we have been processing a huge number of books into the shop - lots of art and design titles and recently an interesting selection of history and fiction - and I think the shop looks as interesting as it has ever looked.

Don't forget if there is anything we don't have we can always order it in for you on very reasonable terms.

Also I have had another big load of Christmas cards delivered so we are once again the first port of call for interesting Christmas cards ( all at the same price as in 2019!). And Christmas gift wrap - I particularly like the seasonally dressed Christmas doggy wrap.

Finally don't forget we are still supporting the brilliant bookshop.org who have now paid nearly £2,000,000 to independent bookshops such as Aardvark. Without their help this year it would have been very tough for many of our bookselling colleagues.
