Fantastic Vide Grenier, Herefordshire Art Week, Ludlow Food Festival

After an incredibly busy couple of weeks the Aardvark blogger is back and first out of the gates would like to thank all the stall holders, visitors and Aardvark staff for helping to make yesterday's August Vide Grenier one of our best ever. Our fantastic team of young people were simply incredible, and thank you to customers for being patient - we only have a small kitchen and getting out that many orders is never easy. Thank you also to the brilliant farmers Richard, Geoff and Brian who allow us to run these events.

But such is life at Aardvark that there is truly no peace for the wicked and we are now starting work on getting together our fantastic Herefordshire Art Week exhibition  - 'The Shield of Achilles' . Over the 15 years we have been putting on exhibitions we have rarely had a show based around a theme, so this is truly something of a departure for us. Also the standard of work I have seen is incredibly high. The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday and if you are planning an Art Week tour I would definitely include it on your list.

Finally the week after we open our H.Art exhibiton we will again be at Ludlow for the Food Festival. Working with festival organisers and the various authors over the years has been a joy. This year we have some of the best titles I have seen for years. Don't miss out on what will be a brilliant event!
