Brocante open for business despite the torrential rain

Just a quick blog to say that the Aardvark October Brocante is open for business. We have had a few stallholders who have not made it through, but the vast majority have.

The road at Leintwardine/Walford is still closed ( and will be for some time), but other roads seem mostly to be passable although proceed with care. In particular the road to Knighton is open and fine as are the roads through to Presteigne, Bucknell, Bedstone and Lingen. If coming from Wigmore or Leominster direction take the first road on the left when you come into Wigmore from the Leominster direction and go over Deerfold and through Lingen to Brampton Bryan. Lots of people have driven that road this morning but always be careful and if in doubt don't

Hope to see you later, or if not sometime between now and Christmas.

Our new fantastic Clearview woodburner is in and installed and will be functioning from the middle of next week ( we are waiting for a purpose built guard to arrive.
