Busy week in the bookshop, 'Art of the Print', 'Out of the Hills' and Much More
The last week has been the busiest Easter holiday we have had for some years with the shop full from mid-morning to late afternoon every day. After an incredible Easter Saturday, Easter Monday was as busy as one of our event days and every day since has seen record numbers of customers. Many thanks to the hard working Aardvark team for keeping the show on the road ( particularly on Wednesday when in the afternoon Annie and Jo were on their own).
In addition to talking and serving customers we have also been working hard on our next exhibition - 'The Art of the Print' which opens on the first bank holiday weekend. This exhibition is looking like it will be an exceptional one, but there is lots more work to do before opening.
Next week is one of our most exciting of the year as it is London Book Fair week and we get to hear about all the new books that are being published this year and also purchase some great books to bring back to the shop. This year's collection is looking like it will be a record haul, so look out for the shop to be filled with art, design, photography, graphics and new children's books over the next few weeks.
Today the weather is not the greatest but Aardvark is open as is our superb double sculpture show. Really hoping to see some of you today, and if you do come I can promise you a sunny welcome!
