A quick thought

It occurred to me that given the truly horrendous state of the weather this Christmas/New Year, you dear reader might find yourself at something of a loose end this holiday season.

If so do not worry, Aardvark is open this week until Friday, and will then re-open Sunday and be open on Monday as well. So many hours you can fill with happy browsing.

To all those who found there way to us yesterday despite the filthy conditions, many thanks. Between visitors to the shop and a record crop of online holiday orders we had a very successful day.

Whilst one has no wish to be thought to blow one's own trumpet I think that the collection of books we currently have in the shop is quite possibly the best ever, with remarkable selections in almost every area. How could you cope if you were to miss out on that essential volume? It is not worth the risk dear reader, so please search our website or better still come in and say hello in person. 2022 is around the corner, but we still have four more days of 2021 book buying and reading to go before then.
