We're Back - Aardvark Books Re-opens 12th April

Hi, yes! its official, Aardvark Books and Café is re-opening to actual non-digital people on Monday, 12th of April 2021. I cannot believe it myself, as frankly it has been soooooo long (although we have had lots of lovely regulars calling up to order books and cards which has helped with our lockdown withdrawal symptoms).

To start with, although we can serve you with cake and a drink you will have to consume said comestibles outside, but come next month (17th May, perhaps) you will be able to eat and drink inside too. In the interim we are putting up a tent so that if it rains (and it has been known to do that occasionally in the Marches), you will not be soaked to the skin (it felt really strange to be putting up a tent today, after a year of not doing so).

To celebrate our re-opening the Aardvarks have made a special video - above! The video was made by the very talented Tom Kovar and we are very grateful to him for all his hard work on it (and to all the aardvarks for agreeing to star in it).

After that, the next thing to look forward to will be our first event of the year - the second ever Aardvark Car Boot Sale - which is pencilled in for Sunday 30th of May (I say pencilled as everything has to be a bit provisional at the moment). If you would like to book a stall let us know, and if not, make a note in your diary to come, buy and join in the fun. Needless to say there will be live music, plants, and we hope, good weather!
