Syrinx and Harp Arcadia at Aardvark, Frankfurt Bookfair, October Brocante, Weekend helper required

Many thanks to Roger Nichols and Hugh Webb for their marvellous and stimulating talks yesterday, to the Arcadia musicians for providing the accompanying illustrations for Roger and to Tom Bowes and Elearnor Alberga for coming up with the idea and running another brilliant Arcadia festival.

Next week we will be off at the Frankfurt Bookfair so expect lots of brilliant books to come into stock over the next month as a result of our visit. Then not long after we return we have our ever popular October Brocante/Flea Market on the 22nd of October. All stall spaces for this have been taken and we only have a few spaces left for our Christmas Market on the 10th of December. After that you will have to cope without Aardvark markets until next year's May Bank Holiday!

Finally after many years fantastic service as a weekend ( and sometimes mid-week helper ) Rowan is leaving to go on her gap year travels. That means we will be looking to recruit a new young person to help us from the beginning of next month. If you know any suitable candidates - or if you would like to apply yourself - please get in  touch.
