H.art is nearly here

There is something about artists setting up there work that is always exciting to me. Today the first artists arrived for h.art and immediately the air was thick with the sound of hammering and tense discussions over where work could be placed to best advantage.

This year we have two exhibitions, one featuring textile artists and makers from the Midlands Textile Forum, and the other with paintings and sculptures by Leila Anderson and Tim Harral. Tomorrow some of  Tim's big works arrive and I can't wait to see how they look on the specially made plinths that we commissioned from Max McColl Brampton Bryan's woodworking marvel at Foldyard Joinery.

All will be revealed on Saturday, so if you are in the area why not come and see the results of all our hard work.
