Take Nine: Bedstone Art Group

Nine Artists of the Bedstone Art Group present their work for the first time during Herefordshire Art Week at Aardvark Books.

The nine artists are:  Elspeth Barber, Margaret Coulson, Roger Emmins, Sylvia Esplin, Helen Kiff, Anne Holding, Margie Savery, Viv Simkins and Norman Thorp.

The Bedstone Art Group, held weekly in Bedstone Village Hall, has been in existence for more than twenty years. The group employs a tutor: over the years most have been established artists. Currently Charles MacCarthy is tutoring the group.

Topics are chosen collaboratively and usually worked on in half-termly blocks. Members can choose their favoured media or, on some occasions, there has been a focus on a particular technique such as life drawing, printing and collage. 

New members are always welcome to join this enthusiastic and friendly group.
